Dark Mysteries: Sturm
Dark Mysteries: Sturm
date: 9/00
media: mechanical pencil, drawing pencils on sketchbook paper
dimensions: 5.5x8.5 inches

This is one from a series of drawings for a Mythus roleplaying campaign I participate in. This scan is only slightly smaller than actual size. Personally, I'm not too keen on the figure as I think he's a bit stiff, but I like the way the tapestry turned out behind him.

Sturm Sunblade

Sturm is a Knight of the Sun and a formidable warrior. Unfortunately he has no sense of humor and isn't much of a people person. Unknown to all the characters at this point, Sturm is a key figure in an ancient prophecy.

The player did base this character on Sturm Brightblade from Dragonlance. If this confuses or irritates you in some way, please take it up with him. I had nothing to do with the character creation and have only a passing familiarity (years ago) with the Dragonlance series.

Go here for more on the Dark Mysteries campaign.

Wow! He does look stern-but he doesn't seem like someone who would be cruel, just strict.
