Dark Mysteries: Adria (unfinished)
Dark Mysteries: Adria (unfinished)
date: 3/02
media: mechanical pencil on sketchbook paper
dimensions: 9x12 inches

Part of a series of drawings for a Mythus roleplaying campaign that I participate in. This particular drawing has been popular as a character portrait, as I have a cropped image on Elfwood. Not sure if I will ever finish it as I don't care for the shading on her lower half.

Adria del Cartach (formerly Adria del Quintin)

A noblewoman with a troubled past, Adria was bound by family duty to honor her arranged marriage. When her path crossed with that of a common thief and con-artist, little did she know he would cost her everything, and for her, he might damn the world.

Go here for more on the Dark Mysteries campaign.

I absolutely adore this piece. I love the face and hair. Her eyes give out a sad emotion that seems to 'pull you in' when you look at it. Lovely work!

Beautiful facial features , yet she looks unhappy

Jennie says: It was a hard point in the character's story. She isn't supposed to be happy.

I can only hope to paint as well as you do some day. Your work is very inspiring.I love this character. She really communicates through the picture. Wish I knew her story. cool eh?
